Short form horror is interesting because the sentences need to pack a punch.
In English there is something similar called "2 sentence horror sorties" where, as the name implies, it's two sentences

"
I walked to my bookshelf and found a new book, a book written by me, one that I don't remember writing, an autobiography. As I flipped through the page I got a chapter called "the bookshelf that destroyed me" that started out with "I walked to my bookshelf and found a new book.
"
this is a simple example that I wrote quickly to try to showcase it.

It's interesting that Roa formed this sort of community within it and the fact that it sprouted from cryptic messages.

I would like to try my hand at one

believe it or not,

In 2016, in Greece, archeologist are thought to have discovered "Pandora's box", the box that in legends had supposedly unleashed great evils onto humanity.

within the box, was inscribed the message "sealed within, there is great evil, whoever dares open it shall pay it's consequences", naturally, many remained skeptical since the container looked brand new and the inscriptions were written in modern Greek.

one particularly skeptical archeologist tried shaking it but dropped it instead breaking the container reveling it's insides which contained a variety of portraits, one of them being of Pandora herself.

archeologist never found the original broken one nor whoever broke it but later on found a fully intact, skepticism still around, one archeologist opened the container which again reveled the portraits but now including the one of the previous archeologist and at the bottom, a picture of himself which was dated as the day after.

believe it or not.

my 'roa' does seem a bit lengthy though.

Wow, this is fantastic! It is an archaeological fantasy and sounds like one of the SCPs.
The clever thing about this format is that it doesn't matter if the story is true or false. Because if the story is false, it means it's something that hasn't happened yet, and if it's true, it means it's a phenomenon that has already happened.
Also, we discussed about "2 sentence horror sorties" long time ago! I love that format!
I wish this Roa would spread to the English-speaking world.

Good old creepy pasta)

Thank you!
