It was very informative to read! Now i know why they spam wwwwwwwwwww sometimes :3
The gacha one is nice, i kinda want to say it too! :D

Thank you!
...spam??

@Precipitation24
I don't know if it's the same in English, but in french, spamming can also mean to repeatedly push a button, like the "w" for instance!
Like when someone is playing a fighting game and always use the same attacks you would say "stop spamming these punches!", as in "stop overusing them". :3

So I said "they spam wwww" but it meant "they overuse the w" :)

Im french so i dont know if english speakers use it the same way! :D

Now I get it! I knew the meaning of the word "spam" itself, but I never thought of it that way.
The world of slang is really deep!

Being on the Autism Spectrum myself (although I was diagonosed with Asperger's, an outdated term), I'm readily familiar with terms like ADHD and ASD. From my experience, while the two acronyms are often brought up in the same conversation---they are generally understood to be two separate, albeit semi-related, concepts. I have the misfortune of fitting both ADHD and ASD categories, but I know there are plenty of folk who are either one or the other.

That being said, I love seeing these kinds of posts--sort of bridging the gap between two cultural realms.

Oh! So "ASD" is a common term in English as well! I'm glad to know that. Now I feel like I can come out in English without hesitation.
Also, thank you! Looking into the meanings and backgrounds of words like this makes me realize that people all over the world find joy and struggle over similar things, which I find fascinating.
