It reminds me of the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) which is a bit like Okada's Four Type Classification, trying to identify different personality types.
I think I would be a "Lawmaker" too according to the description (´◡`)
I took the MBTI test 3 years ago and got "INTP", which is "introverted, intuitive, thinking, perceiving.” They're known as “the thinker” or “the logician” type. But then I took it again some months later, and got another different result!
It's just to say that personality tests are often inaccurate, because first, our personality change as we goes through life's highs and lows, and second, we may not respond to the answers truthfully, as some put us in hypothetical situations that may be difficult to know what to do!
But these tests can also help us to see how different we are from each others! There's so many people of many personalities, qualities and flaws... Ironically, these tests shows that putting people in boxes is useless, because people are very complex!
Very interesting article you wrote! Thank you!

Me too! I am also an INTP on the MBTI test!
And I have the same idea as you. But Okada also said in his book that people's reactions to this classification vary depending on their personalities:
Lawmaker: "Interesting, but I don't really believe it. There must be an exception, or..."
Attention Seeker: "Oh, it's me! Talk more about me!"
Commander: "Interesting. Are there any other 'practical' applications?"
Idealist: "Don't categorize people so easily!"
Also, I have two ideas for strengthening this classification.
The first is to think of it as a relative value, putting yourself at the origin, and you can think of Mr. A's positions in the Commander direction and Mrs. B's positions in the Attention Seeker direction of you.
The second idea is the one you mentioned. It is that one person can sometimes think like a Commander and sometimes like an Idealist. This idea reminds me of the world of "Inside Out". But this concept would be much harder to explain just in the movie LOL
